Ms. Shikha Sharma Jaipuriar is a Corporate Lawyer with more than 12 years of experience.
Shikha started her professional career at one of India’s leading law firms Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Attorneys where she went on to become a Joint Partner. Initially, as part of the service tax advisory team, she advised various companies on issues related to service tax liability, classification, availability of exemptions and credit utilisation. Later, she was engaged in providing legal consultancy on the entire gamut of indirect taxes on retainership basis to various MNCs and leading Indian companies (with focus on telecom, logistics, education, and hospitality sectors). Subsequently, Shikha joined the Corporate Advisory Team where she rendered legal advice to clients on a wide range of areas, such as, FEMA, FDI Policy, employment laws, aviation laws and policy, food laws, legal metrology act, real estate laws, electricity laws and general corporate. She was actively involved in drafting of various commercial contracts, share subscription and shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, licence agreements and employment agreements, as well as in conducting legal due diligence.
